These games weren't too hard to get working, just add them as a non steam game. Didn't run into any issues getting games to work right. It's a great way to experience the game now. ![]() Even on my 3090, Dyling Light 2 WITH DLSS, with maxed out settings only gets 45 FPS at 4K, but on here, im getting 110FPS. Dying Light 2 is a great example of the use case. At those low resolutions, it really becomes blurry. Something else that works well is if you set the settings right, games launch at 1280x800p, which means even an older GPU can run games super fast. For example, GOW feels better at 60FPS, but B元 feels way better at 120FPS. Some games really benefit from running at 120 fps, others actually feel worse. Running at a much higher FPS more thna offsets any increase in latency. Latency is excellent, SD reports 20-40ms of latency to the screen, but I am not sure what that actually includes in the stack. I am able to max out graphics and run at 60 or 120fps in every game so that more than offsets the artifacts. I notice a little bit of compression artifacts, but with the small screen, its not distracting at all. Remote play on the Steam Deck is AWESOME! Seriously, its extremely responsive and looks great. I use moonlight, Parsec, steam link in the past, etc. So Ill start this off by saying a mess with cloud gaming a lot. Cellular latency is a little high and fluctuates a lot. I am excited to try it at my parents who have a good internet connection. ![]() It got a little more pixelated, a little more latency and some small spikes of latency. So yep this works! I tried through a hotspot on my phone. In remote play settings, limit resolution to display resolution, I also turned on Prioritize Network traffic in advanced host, and use NVFBC(only works with Nvidia gpus). I set some settings in Big Picture mode on my PC for them to work correctly. My PC games detected weird resolutions and 16:10 didnt work. I noticed that display resolution doesnt seem to work correctly. ![]() Remote Play settings: Video set to Beautiful, Bandwidth Limit set to Auto, Framerate 120, Resolution Display Resolution. I tested Epic games, Game Pass games, BattleNet games and Steam games. Host Specs: 300/300 Fiber with a good Ubiquiti router fairly close to me. ![]() I wanted to post a few tips and tricks I have found as well as my mini review of it. I have been testing remote play for the last 3 days pretty throughly.
